    Downham Tackle is a family run business which was established in 1977. It started with John, Ray and Terry opening a small shop on Downham Way, Bromley, Kent.
    John’s dad “Pops” as he was known worked with him for many years. As his children grew, they also helped in the shop as Saturday staff.
    In 1992 we outgrew this shop and moved to bigger premises in Bromley Road, Downham where you will still find us today.
    Downham Tackle also runs its own Angling Club, where it has about 40 members, young and old. New members always welcome! Transport by Coach.
    As you walk into the shop, you will see a vast collection of photographs taken over many years of all different weights of fish, especially Carp. Some photo’s go back over 20 years.
    The shop has such a vast selection of products it has taken customers over an hour to decide on what to buy.
    As time stands for no business, we have now moved into the Internet age and as you can see our website is born.
